Mk4 SLEWING CRANE LARS
The Mk4 Slewing Crane Launch and Recovery System (LARS) is designed for observation class Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
Designed to enable the ROV to be launched from a Ship or Oil and Gas Platform from a small deck space on mid-deck. The combination of extending arm and slewing, enables the TMS (Tether Management System) and ROV to sit to the side of the LARS and be launched without the need for a large overhead clearance.
